Refurbish aircraft blades and vanes through Advanced Coating processes. Conduct pre-coating tasks (preparation) essential for coating process. Ensure adequate setup of machines critical for coating operations. Ensure parts are refurbished in accordance with required operation standards and procedures. Monitor and understand process controls to ensure parameters are met. Ensure safe machines operations and readiness at all times. Conduct turnaround for machines and basic fixture maintenance. Participate in the EH&S programs and takes personal responsibility to ensure safety adherence. Support the continuous improvement programs, CORE (Customer Oriented Results & Excellence) activities and additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.
A recognize Diploma in Engineering or relevant qualification or certification. You must have 1 of the following competencies:Thermal Barrier Coatings (TBCs), Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD), Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) Ability to understand basic technical instructions and standard operation procedures (SOP). Comfortable with hands-on work to operate with the equipment and basic process troubleshooting knowledge. Must be willing to work on rotating shifts (Day & Night) and overtime on need basis. Basic working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and SAP application. Prefer those from aerospace, manufacturing, or precision engineering industry.
