•Develop and execute long-term category strategies, ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and supply security. •Conduct market analysis to identify cost drivers, emerging technologies, and sourcing opportunities. •Drive supplier development programs, including process improvements, capacity planning, and quality enhancement. •Develop and implement a local/regional/global supplier base for all critical components to achieve cost advantages and ensure delivery of quality products. •Develop cost models and TCO analysis to drive competitive pricing and cost savings. •Ensure supplier compliance with quality, intellectual property (IP) protection, and regulatory requirements. •Responsible for implementing, reviewing and supporting the development of a vendor risk framework, including conducting periodic risk assessments. •Support and validate Risk assessment and complete due diligence on all new third-party vendors/engagements prior to the commencement of services. •Track results and generate appropriate weekly and monthly and quarterly reports to the reporting manager/customers and continuously monitor progress of KPIs. •Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and Production Transfer projects, ensuring supplier readiness and on-time delivery. •Creating and developing strong working relationships with key internal and external partners up to Executive levels to achieve strategic objectives of the company. •Working with and leading cross-functional teams to execute sourcing initiatives from start to finish, including the competitive bidding process and contract negotiations. •Engage in vendor sourcing, pre-qualification, setup and tracking of supplier lists. •Develops strategic partnerships with preferred suppliers to ensure business objectives are met. •Negotiate cost reduction opportunities in line with relevant product cost roadmaps by price/cost analysis, negotiations, and strategic sourcing. •Any other tasks as assigned by Reporting Officer.
