Senior/ Equipment Engineer (Tape & Reel)

Job Detail

• Responsible for maintenance and repair on any of the following equipment such as Backgrind, Wafer saw, Wafer Mount, Laser Mark, UV-cure, AOI, Tape and Reel, Inspection Station and Packing station. • Ensures timely completion of several complex independent tasks or manages a complex project by providing technical direction to less experienced engineers. • Formulates concepts and gains support and commitment for ideas within team. • Communicates with others (Engineering, vendors, cross sites) to solve difficult problems. • To attain the high quality and productivity through work simplifications and standardization, implementation of best known methods and implement robust system solutions. • Sustain and provide continuous process improvement through planning, evaluating, verifying and executing procedures to ensure that products meet all customers’ requirements in terms of quantity, yield and cycle time. • Liaise with functional teams, suppliers and customers on development & improvement of process, material and equipment capabilities to achieve zero error processes. • Provide engineering support to Operation to ensure continuity of output. • Be a team leader and provide guidance and coaching to team members.
