Product Data Control (PDC) Engineer

Job Detail

Check the correctness and completeness of product packages, such as Technical Product Data (TPD) and Bill of Materials (BOM) received from customers. Work with the user of TPDs to define the new TPD requirement and update the ISO document (for new customers or any change in TPD requirement). Maintain required customer items, BOM, and TPDs in PLM and ERP systems. Create and control the item part number, BOM and TPD in the PLM and ERP systems. Create projects in the ERP system for the fulfillment of customer Sales orders. Implement Engineering Change Order (ECOs) and deploy the changes to the next inline PIC (such as planner, purchaser, process engineer and Sales & Program dept.) Check and ensure all required information for the TPD (items, BOMs, documents) and/or configuration change are provided, and approved by the customer. Support and participate in company continuous improvement program.
