The Technician II, Production Technical Operations, is primarily responsible for handling complex technical tasks in production operations, including equipment setup, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and quality monitoring. In this role, a typical day will include: • Handle complex technical tasks to support operations and enhance efficiency within defined procedures • Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment • Manage resources and schedules to meet specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards • Move, pack, and sort raw materials or finished goods • Monitor output quality to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products • Maintain accurate daily production records for manufacturing performance analysis • Make minor decisions within task scope, requiring enhanced technical skills and problem-solving abilities • Review work orders, schedule resources, and monitor manufacturing operations to align with business objectives and drive operational excellence • Adhere to Good Practice (GxP) regulations by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate documentation, ensuring quality control, and completing required training • Commit to regulatory compliance and continuous improvement in operations Good team player Enjoy working with various cross functional team across manufacturing site Alcon Careers See your impact at alcon.com/careers
