Assistant Engineer (Catering)

As an Assistant Engineer, you will be part of the Technical team responsible for maintaining and ensuring the optimal performance of all systems and equipment within commercial kitchens. • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a full range of Inflight Catering Centre systems and equipment, including:  – Warehouse systems  – Material handling and automation systems  – Refrigeration systems  – Kitchen equipment  – Packaging and inspection machines  – Washing machines  – Waste management systems, etc. • Plan, perform, and ensure maintenance activities are carried out according to schedules, procedures, checklists, and manufacturer recommendations • Oversee and follow through on the procurement of spare parts, contracts, and services to support maintenance needs in line with company policies • Collaborate and communicate professionally with stakeholders to minimise equipment and system downtime • Proactively resolve technical faults, and contribute to process improvements and technical initiatives • Adhere to all Safe Work Procedures and Food Safety requirements • Ensure a safe work environment through good housekeeping and prompt reporting of hazards • Support other relevant duties and project assignments as required Work address: Inflight Catering Centre 1: 20 Airport Blvd., Singapore 819659 OR Inflight Catering Centre 2: 30 Changi North Crescent Singapore 499612 Work Hours: 6 days a week, rotating shifts
