Assist senior manager to prepare maintenance contract of electrical systems such as Central Chilled Water Cooling System, Air Handling Unit, Fan Coil Unit, Standalone AC Units, Mech Ventilation Systems, Heat Recovery & Hot Water System, HPVF / CDS Mechanical System, Building Management System and etc. Assist senior manager in overseeing preventive & corrective maintenance scheduling & coordination work. Manage Maintenance Agent or Specialist Contractor day-to-day works for mechanical systems. Assist senior manager to oversee the performance of outsourced maintenance service provider and specialist vendors to ensure good maintenance standards are maintained and planned PM schedules are met. Ensure prompt service recovery for any breakdown of equipment and systems to minimize disruption to hospital service operations. Assist senior manager to coordinate improvements projects to the hospital services and facilities as well as upgrading of systems and equipment components. Assist senior manager for improvement works to existing hospital facilities such as renovation and retrofitting, replacement of system infrastructure and improvement initiatives to existing specialized systems and hospital facilities. Provide advisory and support to the maintenance team in addressing and rectifying specialized system failures and troubleshooting. Recommend system condemnation and replacements as necessary. Prepare technical specifications and drawings for system improvements and draft cost estimates and work schedule for project execution. To lead and guide engineering assistant on the day-to-day electrical work-related tasks to ensure the hospital operates smoothly. Oversee outsourced maintenance team safety practice and work conduct and ensure good maintenance standards are implemented. Ensure prompt service recovery for any breakdown of equipment and systems to minimize disruption to hospital service operations. Perform any other duties assigned by HOD.
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. 1-4 years of experience or Diploma with 5-9 years’ mechanical system experience for Engineer position. At least 5 years of experience or Diploma with at least 10 years’ mechanical system experience for Senior Engineer Position. Have prior experience with design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of mechanical systems & equipment will be an added advantage. Prior experience in management of mechanical services and facilities operation as well as improvement projects will be an advantage. Prior working experience in healthcare setting will be an advantage. Conversant in reading and interpreting architectural and M&E schematic drawings. Conversant in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD. Ability to use 3D perspective drawing software such as BIM will be an added advantage. Ability to organize, plan and manage facilities operation, analysis, project management works. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and inter-personnel skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels and function well in a team. Able to adapt and thrive in a dynamic working environment. Creative, proactive and problem-solving attitude. Possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and negotiate. Communicate and engage stakeholders effectively.
