Understand the architecture of the product being tested Plan out the testing strategy to execute tests and find the hidden issues Analyze the pros and cons of the specific test plan, as well as the risks linked to each of the component and interfaces of the product Review the code that need to be tested Work with test scripts and automation tools Analyze and log issues, and provide appropriate feedback and recommendations to resolve issues Stay up to date with the technical aspects of the project infrastructre (e.g. browsers, databases, languages, etc.)
Strong knowledge and experience in : Software testing methodology (modular testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing, perforance testing, operational readiness testing, security testing Testing of Java server application and Angular frontend application Working with Test Management tool(s) to track, organize, and control testing activities and JIRA for issue reporting and management Working with COTS testing tools (Postman, SOAPUI, JMeter, Tosca, LoadRunner, etc.) Good knowledge and hands-on experience in programming skills to develop in-house automation test tools is a plus. Basic knowledge of Database/ SQL, Linux commands/scripting, infrastructure concepts such as load balancing, traffic management, DMZ, etc. Excellent analytical and trouble-shooting skills Good communication skills and time management Strong drive towards results with ability to see things through from end-to-end
