Executive Engineer, Rolling Stock Engineering

Responsible for providing technical support and advisory services to other stakeholders such as Operations, Maintenance, Project Carry out defect investigation, evaluate design modifications and review changes to maintenance regime Manage and/ or support execution of rolling stock/ depot equipment related projects through the project lifecycle Comply with all safety requirements Provide engineering support and inputs to rolling stock/ depot equipment related projects, with a focus on electrical subsystems Conduct engineering study, technical trending and failure analysis on rolling stock/depot equipment and related equipment Manage the execution of rolling stock/ depot equipment related projects which include preparation of technical specifications and tender documents, tender evaluation, and design review of contractors’ submissions Develop, manage and implement improvement solutions for rolling stock/ depot equipment Review Work Instructions and Risk Assessments to ensure relevance and adequacy Provide technical and engineering services to maintenance branches to continuously improve maintenance of rolling stock/depot equipment Perform other administrative and planning duties as assigned by supervisor/management
