The role involves assisting Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses in providing basic patient care in inpatient areas. Responsibilities include general hygiene and patient care activities, addressing nutritional needs, admission procedures, inter-departmental transfers, clinical tests and vital sign monitoring, drug administration, nursing procedures, patient fronting tasks, bed management, medical records handling, inventory management, service provision, process review, clerical support, portering, and housekeeping. The incumbent will perform various tasks such as attending to patients' call bells, assisting with personal care, monitoring vital signs, administering oxygen therapy, managing visitor access, updating patient records, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment. This position requires a diverse skill set and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
