We’re looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) — a unique hybrid of a software engineer and a client-facing problem solver. In this role, you’ll collaborate directly with customers to tackle complex, real-world challenges using our core technology platforms. You’ll be building solutions that matter, often embedded on-site with our clients, and working across mission-critical industries such as defense, security and healthcare. Job scope What You'll Do: Technical Engineering Write and deploy production-grade code in languages like Python, Golang, or others. Build tools, data pipelines, and custom AI testing modules using our core platform. Develop and adapt software solutions to meet client-specific needs. Client Collaboration Work closely with client teams, sometimes on-site or in the field. Translate technical capabilities into practical workflows for end users. Serve as a technical advisor, trainer, and implementation partner to the client. Real-World Problem Solving Partner with stakeholders to understand complex, domain-specific issues. Map those problems into actionable engineering tasks. Iterate quickly to deliver impactful, data-driven solutions. Deployment & Impact Be “forward deployed” — travel to where your expertise is most needed. Support clients in dynamic and mission-critical environments. Stay for short-term or long-term engagements, depending on the project. A Typical Day Might Include Developing a custom AI testing module for a given operational domain. Meeting with the client’s data scientist team to understand their pain points. Triaging bugs and coordinating with the platform team to push a fix. Why Join Us?
