Attend engine pre-induction meeting for scheduled engines shop visits. Draft engine teardown workscope. Attend to engine teardown and performs dirty inspection review together with operation. Document parts conditions and upload to server. Review completed teardown reports with Technical Service Engineer. Verify and rectify technical problems with Technical Service Engineer. Perform test cell troubleshooting with Technical Service Engineer. Conduct engine teardown review with customers when required. Assist in engineering driven improvement projects. Handle vendors, contractors on equipment upgrade and modification if necessary. Perform any related duties as direct by the superior.
Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. At least 1 year of experience in Aerospace Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO). Be able to interpret engine manuals and blueprints and translate information to the work instructions. Experience with engine disassembly and/or assembly is preferred. Highly motivated team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Good working knowledge of MS Office applications Commit to work on rotating shifts (Day & Night) and overtime on need basis. Senior Technician with keen interests to transit to Operation Engineering can be considered.
