- Responsible for the care and well-being of hospitalised animals - Husbandry duties for ward and satellite quarantine (den set-up, preparation of food, feeding, cleaning, patient observation) - Work closely with vets and nurses in providing medical treatment and administering prescribed medications for hospitalised patients. - Assist the vet team with field procedures when required. - Upkeeping of ward cleanliness - Update and maintain records on daily observations of animal.
- Minimum ‘O’ levels or Diploma holders (preferably in Life Sciences) - Minimum one year working with animals - Basic veterinary nursing skills - Able to work under minimal supervision. - Good communication skills and attention to detail - Must be able to work on weekends and Public Holidays - Experience in working at animal clinic and animal handling will be beneficial.
