- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of amusement ride mechanical, electrical and control equipment, including adventure play equipment in Rainforest Wild Africa. - Logs completion of maintenance inspections, corrective action and/or repairs made using maintenance system such as daily checklist and logbook. - Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in a safe and timely manner. - Perform troubleshooting and recovery of Ride related faults and Adventure systems - Accountability of tools and equipment and good housekeeping - Any other related work as assigned.
- Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronic/Electrical Engineering or related field of studies with 2-3 years in equipment maintenance preferred. - Candidates with no prior experience but with a keen interest in developing their technical skills will be considered. - Ability to read and interpret maintenance manual to carry out work assignment. - Ability to perform shifts including weekends and public holidays. - Able to work at height. - Basic computer skills (MS office). - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. - Effective communication and ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Good attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. - Physically capable of lifting and installing of components - Prior experience in amusement rides maintenance will be an advantage.
