As we grow, we are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as an Account & Admin Executive. Job Description: The Account & Admin Executive will be responsible for managing both financial and administrative tasks to ensure the efficient operation of the company. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously. Key Responsibilities: 1. Accounting: - Maintain accurate financial records including invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial documents - Ensure timely preparation of full sets of accounts, including Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and supporting schedules - Process accounts receivable and payables, including billing, collecting payments, and processing invoices from suppliers - Assist with GST filing and ensure compliance with tax regulations - Support in managing project accounting, including tracking billing, revenue, and costs related to specific projects 2. Administration: - Provide general administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the office - Manage office supplies inventory, order replenishments, and ensure adequate stock levels - Coordinate office facilities maintenance, repairs, and cleaning - Assist with human resources tasks such as maintaining personnel records and assisting with payroll processing - Handle correspondence, phone calls, and other communication as necessary. - Undertake other ad-hoc duties as assigned 3. Liaison and Coordination: - Liaise with external auditors to facilitate audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards - Collaborate with team members and departments to support cross-functional initiatives - Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and other external parties as needed
Qualifications: - Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field - Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or administrative roles - Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., ABBS, QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office applications - Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to handle confidential information with discretion - A good team player, possess good initiative and hands-on attitude
