1. Liaise with client/broker for new opportunities. 2. Receiving enquiries/tender documents (i.e. enquiries) and review of the tender specification to prepare costing into various segregation of standard cost structure. 3. Preparing and sending out of RFP/RFQ to equipment/material vendors and to arrange for technical/commercial clarification, if required. 4. Reviewing of equipment vendors’ quotation to meet tender or specification requirements with competitive pricing. 5. Collate forex, material and labor costs for estimate build-up. 6. Preparation of detailed cost sheet for review, approval and submission according to given timeline. 7. Identifying the critical items/ systems and carrying out basic level of risk assessment. 8. Coordination and collation of all tender documents from various internal parties and ensure all to be complying to tender requirements for on time & quality submission. 9. Assist in putting up tender review and cash flow projection if required. 10. Assist in contract discussions/negotiations if required. 11. Assist in procurement contract of equipment. 12. Manage equipment contract for delivery timeline and milestone payout. 13. Maintain good relationship with clients, brokers and suppliers. 14. Work with stake holders to ensure proper equipment delivery. 15. Contract Management of awarded projects such as budget monitoring and control, shifting, milestone invoices and required guarantees (if any) to client etc. 16. Assist in obtaining post mortem information for completed projects.
1. Diploma or Degree in Business or Engineering field 2. At least 3 years’ experience in marine industry 3. Good working & positive attitude. 4. Good interpersonal and organizational skills. 5. Meticulous and self-motivated. 6. Willing to learn. 7. Equipped with marketing skills will be an advantage. 8. Require liaising with clients/customers. 9. Some technical knowledge of marine equipment and material. 10. Good commercial sense. 11. Prepare costing framework once receive enquiry request. 12. Source for information, pricing and input into costing template provided against technical specification and general arrangement drawing. 13. Able to gather market intel of vessel type. 14. Sensitive in numbers and as accurate as possible in pricing and selection of equipment suppliers in costing. 15. Knowledge in establishing contracts and purchase agreements. 16. Knowledge of legal terms a plus point. 17. Knowledge of marine insurance terms a plus point. 18. IT savvy (Excel, Words, Power point, Project) 19. Good communication and presentation skills. 20. Team player. 21. Able to travel to shipyard/oversea for attending meetings when required. 22. Proficiency in Chinese will be an added advantage.
