Roles & Responsibilities ALG is currently recruiting for a Material Controller, for our engineering client, to work at the west side of Singapore. This is an exciting opportunity for a 2-year contract, with the opportunity to transition to a permanent role after a 3-month probation period! Working Days: 5 Days (Monday - Friday) Working Hours: Rotating Shift is Required (0700am to 1510pm, 1450pm to 2300pm, 2300pm to 0710am) Job Responsibilities - Receive incoming materials and verify accuracy of consignment against purchase orders. - Organize and maintain inventory storage areas to ensure efficient material handling and retrieval. - Monitor inventory levels and initiate replenishment orders as needed to prevent stockouts. - Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure inventory accuracy. - Prepare and maintain records of material transactions, including receipts, issues, and transfers. - Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of materials to support production needs. - Implement and enforce proper storage and handling procedures to prevent damage or loss of materials. - Ad-hoc task given by Manager/Supervisor.
