• Supervise all Housekeeping Attendants, ensuring operations run smoothly and according to hotel standards • Clean and service guest rooms according to VAREL’s brand standards, including bed-making, dusting, vacuuming, and bathroom sanitation • Replenish guest amenities such as toiletries, towels, and in-room supply • Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged items to the Housekeeping Supervisor promptly • Handle guest requests with professionalism and urgency, ensuring satisfaction and comfort • Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping carts and pantries • Adhere to hygiene, safety, and confidentiality protocols at all times • Respect guest privacy and ensure rooms are serviced discreetly and efficiently • Support lost-and-found procedures and report any found items appropriately
1. Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within a hotel or serviced residence of comparable standard, and with at least 3 years in a Supervisory level 2. Proven ability to maintain exceptional cleanliness and presentation in guest rooms, including bed-making, linen handling, and amenity replenishment 3. Physically fit and capable of performing repetitive cleaning tasks efficiently across multiple rooms and floors 4. Familiarity with hotel systems and basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is an advantage 5. Preferred experience in hotel pre-opening or refurbishment projects, with an understanding of room setup and service readiness 6. Basic knowledge of guest service etiquette, including respectful communication, privacy awareness, and handling of guest belongings 7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive attitude toward task completion and guest satisfaction 8. Awareness of health and safety protocols, including chemical handling, hygiene standards, and infection control measures relevant to guest room servicing
