Being part of the Vendor Management Team, the successful candidate will work directly under the Vendor manager to be responsible for assisting in the sourcing, onboarding, engagement and off-boarding of various groups of Lazada’s outsourced manpower (i.e., full time / part time / campaign based, etc). This person contributes to the objective of scaling up of Lazada’s warehouse operations. On-boarding pool of associates to join Lazada ie, full time / part time / campaign based Maintain a database of vendor employees in Singapore for future outreach Ensure candidates are onboarded have sufficient requirements to do the job Food hygiene and safety induction complete via online platform ID creation of outsourced manpower Verification of the PPE for the employee Be the main contact point and handle all inquiries from agency employees Communicate clearly the terms and conditions of employment to new vendor employees For new staff, assist with fingerprint registration if needed Ensure outsourced vendor associates are onboarded effectively and understand clearly the requirements (such as safety, productivity, QC errors, QA compliance, etc) Build and maintain strong relationship with vendor employees, keeping them engaged Gather vendor employee feedback and contribute to operational improvements Monitor vendor performance and identify issues and propose initiatives to solve them Validate shift reports to ensure the department can measure operational effectiveness and use the insights gathered to drive decision making Follow up on any outstanding shift incidents with regards to safety and productivity and maintain a relationship with the training and HSSE team
