Job Detail

1. Greet customers when approached by customers at the cashier counter. 2. Handles all payment transaction (Cash, Nets, credit cards, vouchers, etc) using the Wincor Point-of-Sale system. 3. Scan the bar codes on the stocks. 4. Ensure right amount is in the cash register at all times. 5. Ensure the cash register is properly secured at all times and especially when leaving the cashier counter for short breaks. 6. Use Payment Media Count function when handover or takeover from another cashier. Any discrepancies are to be highlighted to the respective assigned Head Cashier(s) and the Retail Manager(s). 7. Perform refunds to customer by following the company’s process and procedures. 8. Ensure end day and daily settlements are correctly done by following company’s procedures. 9. Hold custody of Manual Tax Invoices and ensure all Manual Tax Invoice sales are entered into the Wincor system. 10. Ensure all cash / cheques collections are properly enclosed in the sealed Brinks CIT envelop. 11. Ensure the sealed Brinks CIT envelop is placed and locked in the store’s safe. 12. Ensure the sealed Brinks CIT envelop is handed over to the Brinks courier. 13. Keep custody of Harvey Norman vouchers, suppliers’ vouchers, NTUC vouchers etc and maintain proper records when issuing these vouchers to customers. 14. Consolidate and submit the Building/Mall vouchers to the Mall Management. 15. Maintain proper filing of Sales Order for the store. 16. Perform packing of products purchased for customers at the cashier counter. 17. Provide good customer service whenever call-in or approached by customers; politely refer customers to the respective Department Sales Representative, Dept Head or Retail Manager. 18. Assist the Retail Managers for stationaries orders. 19. May be assigned to other stores temporarily or to perform cashiering at offsite locations during shortage of manpower or major sales events. 20. May be assigned to other duties as stipulated by the Admin Manager or the Management.

Min. GCE ‘N’ Level or equivalent Min. 1 year of cashiering experience (Electronics preferred) Able to work on both weekends & public holidays Passion for tech & great customer service Confident with strong communication skills
