Fitness Centre Assistant (CSO)

As a Fitness Centre Assistant, you will interact daily with guests who visit the wellness facilities, including the Gymnasium & Swimming Pool and help, proactively, and as requested by guests. Specifically, a Fitness Centre and Pool Attendant will complete the following tasks to the highest standards: • Knowledgeable about the products and services offered in the Fitness Centre & Swimming Pool • Handle issuance of towels, lockers management and minimize loss of items • Solicit feedback from guests to share with Director of Guest Experience • Ensure that Fitness Centre guests receive efficient, friendly, consistent, and personalized service • Ensure the safety of Team Member, Fitness Centre guests always • Ensure cleanliness of the gymnasium, changing rooms and pool area (including deck chairs, cabanas and umbrellas) • Coordinate with the IRD team to help on agreed level of service at the pool (including the serving of ice water and towels on arrival) • Ensure that the pool is maintained to the highest standards, which requires the engagement of external vendors to provide specialized equipment and expertise in pool cleaning • Oversee the safety of swimmer and prevent injury by providing supervision to the area at regular intervals (e.g patron around the pool) reacting immediately to any emergency and identify and possible signs of distress • Provide pool rescue in accordance with set emergency procedures • Inform guests when necessary to abide by the rules and regulations of the pool • Perform regular inspections of swimming pool and lifesaving equipment in the swimming pool • Familiar with swimming pool SOPs and adhere to requirements such as pool surveillance procedures, emergency action plans
