As a Centre Manager at Mind Stretcher, you will work closely with the cluster manager and other student care teachers to run the daily operations of a centre, be involved with parental engagement, and manage delivery and quality of the curriculum on a day-to-day basis. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations of the centre including monitoring and managing staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and compliance with operational requirements. Implement and enforce operational policies and procedures. Ensure the quality of student care services, including academic support, recreational activities, and meal services. Manage the center's facilities, ensuring they are well-maintained, safe, and conducive for all activities. Foster, maintain regular and positive communication with parents or guardians, providing updates on student progress, addressing concerns, and fostering a collaborative relationship. Respond promptly to parent inquiries and concerns, fostering a positive and collaborative relationship. Plan and organise parent engagement events, workshops, and meetings to enhance parental involvement in the student care community. Collaborate with parents to address their feedback and suggestions. Use feedback to make continuous improvements and enhance parent satisfaction. Recruit, train, and supervise centre staff, including tutors and student care teachers. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback. Manage the budget for the student care center, including expenses related to staffing, supplies, and facilities. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, enrollment, and other relevant data. Oversee the enrollment process, including admissions, registration, and orientation for new students. Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the student care center and attract new enrollments. Other ad-hoc duties assigned by Reporting officer.

Job Requirements

Possess minimally Diploma in Early Childhood, Diploma in Care and Programme, or a related field (Candidates without a Diploma but with relevant experience may apply). Minimum 4 years of working experience in Preschool / Student Care environment with a track record of managing teams. Proficient in basic productivity tools i.e., MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and unstructured environment. Commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with parents, staff, and the broader community. Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards governing student care centers. Good communication, interpersonal skills and classroom management skills Organised, detailed and proactive.
