The incumbent is responsible for overseeing and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production and maintain high product quality. Analyze and improve production processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Collaborate with other departments to develop production schedules and ensure timely completion. Monitor product quality, identify defects, and implement corrective actions to maintain quality standards. Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to minimize production disruptions. Ensure manufacturing practices meet safety standards and comply with regulations. Coordinate maintenance schedules and work closely with the maintenance team to prevent equipment breakdowns. Use production data to track performance, identify trends, and recommend improvements. Work with the production team to implement best practices and provide training as needed. Manage raw materials and resources to prevent shortages or surpluses. Collaborate with quality assurance to integrate quality checks within the production schedule.
