Role Summary: As a Senior Farm Systems or Farm Systems Engineer in the Farm Technology department, you will be supporting technological aspects of the consultancy, design, build and operations and urban farms, with a focus on farm engineering. You will be collaborating with Archians in sales, project management, farm management and research & technology to deliver impactful agricultural solutions to our clients and partners. Support technological aspects on the design, build and operations of farms, with a focus on farm engineering. Provide ground support at all stages of our solutions. Develop proposals for the deployment of farm solutions. Design and conduct experiments to test ideas and solutions. Develop and implement strategies to improve the performance of farms and farming operations. Develop novel farm solutions. Evaluate and build relationships with suppliers. Advise and consult clients.
Degree/Masters in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field. Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience. Excellent at integrating knowledge and skills from multiple domains to create solutions. Good scientific and/or engineering skills (literature review, hypothesis formulation, experiment design, data analysis) Good interpersonal skills, able to work well with people from different departments and seniority. Able to understand and internalise technical knowledge.. Excellent command of both written and spoken English. Willing to undertake short-term deployments to client farms when necessary(to travel or deply to JB when needed).
