The Manager / Senior Manager in the MEE Department shall provide leadership and management to his team. He shall be responsible to perform engineering analytics, provide engineering solutions and perform defect investigations to support the Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic Systems of the SMRT Trains, Engineering Trains and Plant Equipment. He shall be required to independently conduct and coach the team in defect troubleshooting, failure analysis, reliability trending, engineering analytics of condition monitoring systems and develop engineering solutions to the problems identified. He shall also collaborate with other internal and external stakeholders on engineering and maintenance efforts and ensure high system reliability and availability.
Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Engineering or equivalent from a recognised institution, with at least 5 years’ working experience in managerial positions in a maintenance organisation. Previous Railway System experience would be advantageous. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Comfortable to work hands-on in a maintenance workshops environment alongside other Engineers, Assistant Engineers and Technical Officers. Must also be able to work in different shift timings, when required.
