Electrical Engineer (ELV)

Job Detail

Plan, design, and manage electrical systems for construction, ACMV, or FPS projects, including underground tunnel and LTA projects. Perform electrical design calculations, planning, and preparation of technical drawings, tender documents, and QA/QC documentation. Review and ensure all design and site works comply with specifications, standards, and authority requirements. Coordinate with clients, main contractors, consultants, and sub-contractors to resolve technical issues and align project deliverables. Supervise electrical installation, testing, commissioning, and “power turn-on” works on-site. Monitor sub-contractors’ progress and quality of work, ensuring compliance with approved shop drawings and method statements. Review M&E drawings and identify discrepancies between electrical, mechanical, structural, ID, and architectural plans. Manage project schedules, manpower planning, and cost control to meet deadlines and targets. Attend coordination and site meetings to report on project status, technical issues, and progress updates. Support team development, mentoring, and continuous improvement initiatives. Carry out any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Project Manager or Design Manager.
