Community Relations Manager

Job Detail

Build strong ties with local organisations, senior centres, hospitals, and other stakeholders. Represent the Nursing Home/Day Centre at external meetings and events. Lead special organisational projects with Territorial HQ and/or external agencies, including corporate partnerships and competency management. Develop and implement fundraising strategies to support programmes and activities. Cultivate relationships with donors, sponsors, and funding agencies. Plan, execute, and evaluate fundraising events and campaigns. Identify and negotiate partnership opportunities aligned with the organisation’s mission. Track partnership data, prepare reports, and present updates to stakeholders. Manage the community relations budget, allocating resources effectively for outreach, marketing, and events. Oversee community communication channels (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Telegram), sharing resources and driving engagement. Perform other duties as assigned to ensure smooth operations. Work with IT, nursing, and admin teams to manage the resident survey platform. Ensure compliance with privacy policies and data security standards. Oversee monthly reports, survey results, and resident feedback. Develop and implement volunteer programmes. Oversee logistics for volunteer events, projects, and activities. Manage content (reports, write-ups, photos) for newsletters and submissions to The Salvation Army, AIC, and C3A. Coordinate internal communications to keep staff informed on events and initiatives. Handle reporting, policy updates, staffing schedules, and leave approvals for the Community Relations Department.
