You will support the Clinical Governance and Quality (CGQ) Clinical Director in successful development of new procedure-specific consent forms and regular review of existing consent forms. Your job duties include: Evaluate and refine work process for the development, revision and review of policies Manage the development and revision of clinical policies Engage and work with clinicians and stakeholders on new and revised policies Collaborate with OPSQ-Clinical Risk Management and other relevant stakeholders to educate and implement hospital policies Obtain clearance and approval from Patient Safety Council and Medical Board Ensure smooth harmonization and standardization of the content and format of consent forms within the Singhealth cluster Supervise the development and revision of procedure-specific consent forms with input from relevant clinical departments within Singhealth and SingHealth Legal Check consent forms and ensure content is accurate and is in accordance to approved Singhealth template Resolve issues that arise from the harmonization of consent policy and forms, and bringing the matters up to SingHealth Legal, Singhealth Cluster Consent Steering Committee (CCSC) and Singhealth Medical Board (SMB) where required Assist the SingHealth CCSC Chairperson in overseeing to the running of committee meetings, harmonization and implementation of the consent forms, setting up the repository, and solutioning See to the drafting of consent broadcast to educate/update on consent-related issues for relevant hospital staff in SGH in accordance to SGH Consent Policy and Singhealth cluster initiatives Ensure that hospital staff are educated on principles and process of consent-taking Supervise the setting up of the Cluster Consent Repository (platform to host the forms, gathering requirements, organization of folders, solutions for searching of forms effectively, etc.) Work closely with the eSignature Steering Committee in providing criteria and solutions to signing the consent form electronically, as well as its storage and extraction of information from the system for monitoring the usages Provide administrative/secretariat support for PSC Work with Section and Department leads to strategize and plan for items to be discussed at PSC meetings Assist in preparing department's workplans and budget. Assist in day-to-day administrative duties Carry out performance review; annual and interim staff appraisal, conduct open appraisal discussion Assist in right sizing, manpower projection and hiring process Assist in assignment of work and discussion on the specific Key Result Areas with staff Vet meeting minutes or draft emails Provide “on the job” training and guide team members in their daily tasks Coordinate the training needs of team members to build capabilities, productivity and efficiency Perform ad-hoc duties as and when assigned by Director and Senior Manager in other areas where required

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Science / Healthcare-related At least 8 years of relevant experience in a healthcare industry is preferred. Prior experience in a supervisory role would be an added advantage. Experience in policy development and analysis including drafting, reviewing and revising policies to ensure clarity, compliance and effectiveness Good stakeholder engagement and communication skills Experience in quality and process improvement, patient safety, data analysis and research, clinical audit is preferred to better inform policy development and decision-making Proficient in Microsoft Office Good stakeholder management and strong interpersonal skills; meticulous and responsible
