The AI Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable AI/ML solutions that drive business transformation. This role exists to accelerate innovation through advanced AI/ML techniques while ensuring model reliability, security, and compliance with industry standards. The AI Engineer will bridge research, engineering, and business needs to deliver production-grade AI systems. - To design, develop, and deploy robust, scalable, and efficient machine learning systems and AI-powered applications into production. - To bridge the gap between data science prototypes and real-world, reliable software that delivers measurable business value. - To establish AI/MLOps best practices and infrastructure, ensuring the organization can iterate and maintain models quickly and safely. - To work within the constraints of the organization's cloud infrastructure, digital innovation, security protocols, and business objectives to deliver tangible results. - Responsible for providing technical expertise in the AI development of the system. This includes supporting service requests, incident management, problem management, change requests, and projects. - Applying software engineering principles to analyze and problem-solve, and design an AI solution - Creating technical specifications - Designing and developing test cases - Adopting Agile methodologies to develop AI solution - Analyzing existing legacy systems to provide AI recommendations for improvement - Ensuring proper documentation - AI monitoring system performance and performing predictive maintenance - Assessing new technologies before adoption and implementation
