The Data Scientist/Engineer is responsible for designing and optimizing large-scale data pipelines, developing predictive and prescriptive models, and ensuring data availability and reliability for advanced analytics and AI initiatives. This role enables the organization to make data-driven decisions, innovate through AI/ML, and maximize value from enterprise and external data sources. - To extract actionable insights and build advanced predictive and prescriptive models from complex, large-scale, and unstructured datasets. - To design and build robust data pipelines and feature engineering workflows that feed both analytical and AI / machine learning systems. - To translate ambiguous business problems into data-driven solutions, effectively communicating findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - To work within the limits of data availability, quality, and business constraints to provide accurate and reliable analysis. - Develop and deploy AI / machine learning models to help resolve organisational challenges and enhance operational efficiency. - Take ownership of analysing large-scale datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights for decision-making. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into practical analytical solutions. - Design and execute statistical analyses and experiments (such as A/B tests), presenting conclusions to evaluate initiatives. - Create dashboards and visualisations to communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders across different functions. - Lead efforts to optimize existing machine learning models and introduce innovative algorithms. - Propose and establish best practices for statistical analysis and machine learning.
