The Platform AI / Model Engineer will be part of the AI Center of Excellence (AI COE), a centralized team responsible for building and operating enterprise-scale AI platforms used by multiple internal teams. This role focuses on owning the AI model platform, including model lifecycle management, AI governance, and the AI Model Gateway that controls access to LLMs and AI services. The role requires 3-5 years of experience in AI platform, ML engineering, or platform engineering, with hands-on exposure to operating AI/ML systems in production and supporting shared platforms used by multiple teams. Candidates should have a strong understanding of model lifecycle management (versioning, metadata, lineage), experience with model registries and tracking tools (e.g. MLflow), and familiarity with model documentation, catalogues, and discoverability. Practical knowledge of AI Model Gateways, LLM access governance (routing, quotas, policy enforcement), model serving and inference runtimes, and containerized environments such as Kubernetes or OpenShift is expected, along with awareness of responsible AI, safety guardrails, and governance controls in an enterprise setting.
