Role Overview We are seeking a strong HR Business Partner (Assistant Manager) to support our Senior HRBP Manager across both KFC and Pizza Hut Singapore. This role is a hands-on people partner and team lead, responsible for translating HR strategy into practical, on-the-ground execution across our restaurant operations. You will manage and coach a team of HRBP Executives, partner closely with Operations leaders, and ensure consistent, compliant, and effective people practices for a large frontline workforce. Key Responsibilities 1. Business Partnering & Operations Support Partner Area Coaches, Restaurant Managers, and Operations leaders on day-to-day people matters across restaurants. Advise on employee relations, disciplinary cases, performance issues, attendance, and workplace conduct. Provide practical HR guidance aligned with operational realities in a fast-paced QSR environment. Support restaurant openings, transitions, and manpower movements as required. 2. Team Leadership & HRBP Execution Lead, coach, and develop HRBP Executives supporting full-time and part-time restaurant staff. Allocate portfolios, monitor workload, and ensure timely, accurate HR support delivery. Review case handling, documentation quality, and stakeholder communication. Act as escalation point for complex or sensitive cases before senior HRBP involvement. 3. Employee Relations & Compliance Ensure consistent application of HR policies, disciplinary processes, and employment practices. Support investigations, counselling sessions, warnings, and terminations where required. Ensure compliance with Singapore employment laws and internal governance standards. Maintain proper documentation, case records, and audit-ready files. 4. Performance & People Management Support performance management cycles for restaurant management staff. Coach managers on fair performance conversations, improvement plans, and documentation. Identify recurring people issues and recommend practical interventions. 5. HR Data, Reporting & Systems Review HRBP reports and dashboards covering cases, attrition, manpower movement, and trends. Ensure accuracy and integrity of HR data in HR systems. Use insights to highlight risks, hotspots, and improvement opportunities to the Senior HRBP Manager. 6. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Talent Acquisition, Payroll, L&D, Operations, and Compliance teams. Support alignment of HR processes across both brands. Participate in HR projects, pilots, or process improvements as assigned.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline. 5–7 years of HR experience, with solid exposure to HR business partnering or HR operations. Prior experience leading or supervising HR team members strongly preferred. Hands-on experience managing frontline / blue-collar / hourly workforce is a strong advantage. Good working knowledge of Singapore employment laws and employee relations practices. Confident communicator able to engage restaurant leaders and handle sensitive conversations. Structured, calm, and decisive—able to manage volume without losing judgment. Comfortable operating in a high-volume, multi-site environment
