Core Accountabilities / Responsibilities: Marketing Strategy & Growth Develop and execute integrated marketing and sales strategies aligned with overall business objectives. Identify market trends, growth opportunities, customer needs, and competitive positioning to inform marketing initiatives. Plan and oversee promotional campaigns, branding initiatives, and go-to-market strategies to increase market presence and sales. Work closely with internal teams to ensure marketing initiatives support business priorities and revenue targets. Monitor market developments and industry trends to continuously refine marketing and sales approaches. Business Development & Sales Research and identify new business opportunities, including new markets, customer segments, partnerships, products, and service offerings. Generate and manage leads through prospecting, networking, cold calling, and referrals. Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, from lead generation to deal closure. Conduct client meetings (face-to-face or virtual) to understand business needs and propose suitable solutions. Develop strong, long-term relationships with clients and key stakeholders. Prepare proposals, quotations, and client contracts in collaboration with relevant stakeholders. Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements with customers and, where applicable, suppliers. Drive revenue growth by achieving sales targets and expanding existing client accounts. Planning, Analysis & Reporting Conduct sales forecasting, performance analysis, and pipeline reporting. Track marketing and business development of KPIs and present insights to Senior Management and/or the Board. Identify opportunities to improve sales processes, marketing effectiveness, and overall business operations. People & Stakeholder Management Ensure internal teams understand marketing and business development objectives and their role in achieving them. Lead, coach, and train team members, including coordinating external training where required. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution of initiatives. Represent the company at seminars, conferences, networking events, and industry forums.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Minimum 5-6 years of experience in marketing and/or business development. Proven track record in lead generation, sales growth, and executing marketing strategies. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Strategic thinker with the ability to translate ideas into actionable plans. Results-driven, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
