•Handles all mechanical related lab setup for in-house FAT of systems, including coupling and gearbox selection. •Hands on troubleshooting and resolution of system issues during all stages of project (development, setup, FAT, SAT, warranty). •Responsible for any mechanical system design stages of development. •Generate mechanical drawings for effective communication with suppliers. •Create systems and process flows for all relevant work to standardize work and reduce cycle times. •Create and manage all relevant documentation. •Any other responsibility as assigned by supervisor.
•Hands on experience with vessel mechanical and engine systems. •Experience with engineering design software. Direct hands-on experience with SOLIDWORKS is a plus. •Familiarity with maritime HM&E systems and naval construction processes. •Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. •Team player and good communication skills. •Physically fit and able to work in strenuous circumstances.
