Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Requires a broad knowledge of Manufacturing Practices, Assembly Prints, Bill of Materials to be able to create Manufacturing ready documentation such as S.O.E.’s (Sequence of Events) and Assembly Process Workflow. - Provides technical direction and on-the-job training to production staff. - Plans, schedules, conducts, and coordinates the Manufacturing Engineer portion of the system build. - Prepares and/or modifies work instructions, BOM structures, and training curriculum. - Ensure proper interdisciplinary coordination and effective communication on projects. - Requires contact with Customers, vendor representatives. - Attends and participates in Customer meetings. - Confers with engineers, technicians, customers, and others to discuss best practices to streamline build processes and procedures. - Inspects completed systems; partners with Manufacturing and Quality organizations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards. - Supports project production efforts to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. - Investigating customer or internal issues determines the nature and extent of the problem and recommends corrective actions. - Assists in cost estimations and development of capital project programs for new equipment and major repairs. - Evaluates and process Engineering Change Orders.
