Job Detail

Prepare, paint and detail aircraft according to the schedule, using company quality standards and operating procedures. Coordinate with supervision and inspection to ensure compliance with regulations mandated by aviation authorities and specifications set by aircraft manufacturers and customers. Follow standard operating procedures when using tools and equipment, such as sanders, hydraulic lift platforms, and paint sprayers. Properly care for and maintain shop equipment and tools. Follow standard operating procedures when handling chemicals, primers, paint, and paint strippers, and use protective equipment as required. Comply with safety rules and procedures and be alert for unsafe conditions. Address unsafe conditions promptly to prevent risks to people or property. Assist in paint touch-up of aircraft parts. Demonstrate good knowledge of mixing and handling paint.
