Responsible for processing monthly payroll accurately, including salary adjustments, bonuses, allowances, deductions, and final payments, while working closely with HR on system updates and final salary processing. The role handles payroll and manpower expense enquiries from employees and stakeholders, administers the eClaim system, and maintains approval matrices. It also involves reconciling payroll-related contra and suspense accounts and resolving any discrepancies, as well as responding to audit requests relating to payroll, tax, and employee claims. In addition, the role ensures payroll controls operate effectively by reviewing processes, identifying weaknesses, and implementing corrective actions. Responsibilities include managing payroll suspense accounts to ensure timely clearance and ensuring compliance with the CPF Act, Income Tax Act, and internal policies. The position also supports the digitization of payroll processes and financial reporting, while undertaking ad-hoc projects and assignments aimed at improving operational efficiency.
A candidate with a diploma in Business, HR, Accountancy, Finance, or a related field, possessing 3 to 5 years of payroll experience, preferably with SAP Payroll, and solid knowledge of Singapore statutory requirements such as the CPF Act and Income Tax Act. Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office, they demonstrate strong analytical, organisational, and coordination skills, coupled with excellent communication. They are proactive, take initiative, and are meticulous, resourceful, and innovative, maintaining a positive work attitude. Able to work independently as well as collaboratively, they possess mature interpersonal skills to engage effectively with both internal and external parties.
