Job Summary The Senior Specialist, Master Data manages and maintains accurate, timely, and reliable master data—including customer, product, raw material, vendor, and other key domains—to support site operations, business processes, and decision-making in compliance with data governance policies. Key Responsibilities Serve as SAP-PP/MM/WM Superuser within SCM, ensuring accurate master data through cross-department collaboration. Manage the full lifecycle of master data, including creation, updates, and deletion, to maintain integrity and compliance. Ensure correct master data setup for logistics, warehousing, production, purchasing, sales, and operations while identifying SAP process improvements. Conduct audits, validations, and corrective actions to maintain accuracy, consistency, and completeness. Provide first-level SAP support, validate requests, and resolve discrepancies. Represent the site in patch and upgrade testing to ensure data quality and integrity. Develop training materials, coach end-users, and share best practices across the organization. Coordinate with D&T and other departments to ensure data integration and synchronization. Implement corrective actions and continuous improvements to enhance data reliability. Support master data management tool implementation and customization. Generate and analyze metrics, including OTIF, capacity utilization, and inventory, to inform decision-making. Monitor trends, anticipate issues, and work with data owners to resolve them. Support global projects, digital transformation initiatives, and perform UAT for new systems or enhancements. Lead and support ad hoc projects and assignments from management.
