JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Lead and supervise Engineers, Assistant Engineers, Engineering Assistants, Technicians, and Operators to achieve departmental goals and objectives. • Perform full hands-on operation, setup, and troubleshooting of Guzik DET machines or equivalent HDD component testing equipment, with strong knowledge of HDD head and media component testing algorithms. • Ensure consistent machine uptime and adequate manpower planning to support continuous R&D and Mass Production (MP) operations. • Evaluate new machine technologies to support customer product roadmaps and prepare technical evaluation reports. • Drive continuous research and development of critical Guzik parameters to support HDD performance improvement. • Conduct in-depth analysis and investigation of media magnetic properties versus electrical performance. • Plan and manage direct and indirect materials for budgeting, logistics, and inventory control purposes. • Coordinate with other Resonac sites for technology and methodology information sharing. • Ensure compliance with ISO Standard Operating Procedures and safety practices.
