This traineeship is an opportunity for aspiring individuals who are keen to join aerospace industry but do not meet the pre-requisites as a trained aircraft engine technician. Upon successful completion of the program, a career as a qualified aircraft engine technician awaits you. About the Traineeship Program The program involves a fully-sponsored training program over a one-year training period (including other allowances). The program encompasses initial company familiarisation, classroom training and on-the-job training. The initial familiarisation in SAESL provides an insight to the working environment prior to attending classroom training. The three-month classroom training, consisting of theory and practical sessions, will be conducted and assessed by an external training academy. The nine-month on-the-job training in SAESL provides the opportunity to learn and work on the renowned Rolls-Royce Trent Engines. Upon completion of the training, the qualified aircraft engine technician will serve a two-year bond with SAESL.
