- Supports the Assistant/ Engineering Manager in maintaining the permanent way, tunnels, structures, and 3rd rail systems for JRL to ensure safety, reliability, and availability standards are met - Responsibilities include managing track access requests, planning and executing maintenance activities, and supervising contractor works for viaducts, buildings, and civil structures - Helps to develop and implement failure management and emergency response procedures, supports ISO 14000 compliance, and participates in handovers of new stations and depots - Manages the route protection team, prepares civil contract specifications, contributes recommendations for departmental decisions, and trains and supervises in‑house staff - Additional duties may be assigned as required
- Manage and control expenditure within approved budget - Minimum 1 year relevant experience in railway sector - Hands on experience in start-up operation - Good interpersonal skills - Prepared to work during non-traffic hours after midnight
