Lead troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, commissioning, and replacement activities for mechanical static equipment and piping systems. Supervise and coordinate contractors and vendors for the execution of mechanical works and system improvements. Ensure new or modified mechanical systems (e.g., marine loading arms, pumps, pressure vessels, safety devices) are compliant with regulatory requirements and best practices. Maintain and manage the statutory inspection schedules and servicing of regulated equipment such as lifting machines, lifting gear, pressure vessels, and safety valves. Conduct root cause analyses (RCA) on equipment failures and recommend effective technical solutions, including interpretation of predictive maintenance data (e.g., vibration, radiographic testing, ultrasonic testing, oil analysis). Maintain comprehensive records on equipment history, failure data, running hours, plant shutdowns, and loss events, including engineering documents and compliance with applicable codes and standards. Lead mechanical engineering aspects of projects, including technical evaluations, scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination. Liaise with external stakeholders, including government agencies, to secure approvals and assess risks related to mechanical system shutdowns affecting gas send-out.
