Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Engineer

Conduct hazard identification and risk assessments (HIRA, JSA, JHA) and monitor site activities for safety compliance. Perform regular site inspections, audits, and safety surveillance to ensure adherence to safe work procedures and permits. Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and occupational illnesses, including root cause analysis and corrective actions. Develop, review, and implement HSE procedures, method statements, and emergency response plans. Organize and conduct HSE training, safety inductions, and toolbox talks to promote a strong safety culture. Monitor environmental aspects such as waste management, chemical handling, emissions, and spill prevention. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and support ISO 14001 environmental management system requirements. Support occupational health programs, including ergonomics, hygiene, exposure control, and health surveillance. Maintain HSE documentation, track KPIs, prepare reports, and support audits and regulatory inspections. Liaise with authorities, clients, and contractors on HSE matters; requires relevant degree, HSE certification, 3–7 years’ experience, and knowledge of PSM principles.
