Job Detail

- Supports the maintenance and operation of tunnels, permanent way and 3rd Rail systems on the Jurong Region Line to ensure safety, reliability and availability meet agreed operational standards - Responsibilities include planning and coordinating track access, participating in inspections, measurements, data analysis and defect rectification for track and 3rd Rail systems, and supporting rail replacement and maintenance works - Involves standby duties to respond to faults reported by Operations Control Centre (OCC), preparation of equipment and spares for night works, troubleshooting defective tools and equipment, monitoring noise and defect conditions during operations, and managing permanent way stores - Additional duties include shunting and driving engineering vehicles, assisting with building and viaduct inspections, supervising repair and grouting works, monitoring construction activities along the railway corridor, and supporting other departmental tasks as assigned by the Supervisor
