System Engineer

Interested individual will participate in Skyworks automation projects for productivity, quality improvement and support our mission to be best in class filter manufacturer. He / She will be responsible for implementing automation systems comprising of in-house developed, customized solutions & off-the shelf product to the production floor. He / She will be working closely with Production, Engineering comprising Process, Development & Equipment, IT to troubleshoot and resolve production systems issues raised. He / She will also work closely with Engineering comprising Process & Equipment & external solution provider to introduce & qualify automation projects that improves quality control & operational flow Responsible for assigned Automation projects such as Smart Factory initiatives (OHT/Stockers/WIP Management), Robotics (AMR), Manual handling & metrology evaluation, tests, and implementation. Define sustenance and scaling up to support manufacturing operations. Actively engage with production, engineering teams & external solution providers where necessary to implement Automation projects and achieve implementation target / KPI. Attend systems issues, perform troubleshooting, and provide corrective actions and preventive solutions. Identify system enhancement opportunities, propose improvement plan, and implement to the production environment. Prepare project proposals, return on investment assessment & technical details (Be it new project or improvement plan) for review and submission for CAPEX request where necessary. Provide support to engineering team to assist them in the projects implementation and push for adoption / usage of systems in their day-to-day work. Create and document best practice on using automations systems for end user. Manage assets that fall under automation team responsibility. Actively demonstrate a passion for continuous learning. He / She will be required to travel to supplier & company sites be it locally or overseas when necessary to provide system and technical support to internal or external Stakeholders where necessary. Any Other ad hoc duties as assigned.
