Ideate with site functional stakeholders to collect automation requirements. Perform technical and financial feasibility studies and define ROI calculations. Collaborate with suppliers and the automation system engineering team to finalize automation proposals. Develop business cases for senior management justification and obtain necessary approvals. Plan, execute, monitor, and hand over automation systems to site functional stakeholders Proven experience in automation project management within a manufacturing environment. Solid knowledge & hands-on experience in Physical automation: Mechatronics & robotics, Complex Mechanisms, Motion systems, controls, PLC’s, Vision systems, Pneumatics & Mechanical systems Candidates with PLC/PC/AI knowledge will be given preference. You’ll be working in UCT, Singapore, but you will need to travel for about 20% of your time to United States and other countries.
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics or Manufacturing Engineering is preferred/directly related experience may be considered. Preferred experience in global automation or U.S.-based deployment projects.
