Perform disassembly and assembly of engines and modules in accordance with approved technical data and OEM manuals. Compliance of work to all relevant statutory, company regulations and standard operating procedures. Perform work as assigned and in the manner as specified ensuring that all quality and safety requirements and practices are met. Maintenance and care of tools and equipment in the work area. Ensure that tools and equipment are properly maintained, utilized and promptly returned in good condition after use. Perform 5S to ensure work area is clean and that all support equipment is positioned or returned to their appropriate place of storage after work. Carry out day to day preventive or predictive maintenance activity tools and equipment at the respective work area. Participate in continuous improvement by coming up with ideas on day to day activities and process improvements. Any other tasks as assigned by superiors.
Diploma or Techincal Education from an accredited institution Minimum of 2 years experience in engine shop environment preferable. Familiarity of inspection methods, techniques and equipment would be an added advantage Good understanding of airworthiness regulations and requirements e.g. FAA, EASA, CAAS and other NAAs will be an advantage Experience and Good understanding of QMS, SMS and AS9100, OHS45001 will be an advantage. Trained in Boroscope Inspection, Boroblend would be an added advantage Conscientious and detail oriented work attitude. Knowledge of problem resolution tools and LEAN.
