System / Software Safety & System Assurance (RAMS) Engineer

Job Detail

Work with internal and external stakeholders to understand user requirements and develop practical system designs. Review and consolidate overall system design to ensure completeness and alignment with project requirements. Prepare and submit equipment samples for approval in accordance with the approved equipment list. Generate termination diagrams and related drawings for the site implementation team. Prepare and submit system design documents, including calculations, schematics and technical descriptions. Liaise with the Procurement team and raise purchase requests for system-related equipment and materials. Track equipment delivery status and update the System Manager and Project Manager on any delays or issues. Plan and coordinate Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and internal testing activities. Develop testing and commissioning (T&C) checklists for consultant/client review and approval. Perform system testing, record faults and coordinate with the site team for rectification works. Troubleshoot system issues and support testing and commissioning on site when required. Conduct user and operator training sessions and prepare/submit Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals. Brief the maintenance team and support the handover process to operations/maintenance stakeholders.
