Product Engineer

Lead end-to-end development of new aircraft hydraulic components capabilities and through project management in overseeing cost analysis, design, and the engineering of test fixtures and software through to first article inspection, technician training, and the preparation of comprehensive documentation for airworthiness approval. Provide expert technical and engineering support to the workshop, resolving complex troubleshooting and functional testing issues to ensure the seamless repair and overhaul of assigned product lines. Act as the technical liaison with customers, partners, and OEM technical support groups to ensure timely corrective actions on technical maintenance issues. Initiate, review, and implement technical maintenance publications and maintenance of process sheets. Perform failure investigations, warranty adjudication and write component investigation reports. Develop, maintain and update the acceptance testing software and specialized tooling. Ensure all calibrated inspection and test equipment remains fit for purpose and compliant with standards. Perform internal audits and assist in airworthiness, customer and vendor/supplier audits. Lead and participate in Continuous-Improvement, Quality and Safety activities. Carry out any other duties and assignments that may be assigned to him/her from time to time.
