You will provide basic nursing care and support to patients, assisting doctors and nursing staff in meeting the basic needs of patients in the patient areas. You will help orientate patients and their relatives, participate in nursing procedures and treatments, and ensure the general comfort and well-being of those in your care. You will be expected to maintain high standards of infection control, standard precautions, and hand hygiene at all times, while also keeping the work area clean and well-maintained. The role also involves assisting in the safe transfer of patients to and from consultation.
Candidates should possess a GCE "N" Level qualification or equivalent. A recognised Certificate in Health Care (Inpatient) or WSQ Certificate in Healthcare Support (Nursing Care) would be an advantage. Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required.
